so I know this isn't xs11.com but I've had a lot better input on here so I'm hoping for some luck. I bought this bike (79' xs1100 standard) and the guy I got it off really was doing some weird stuff with the wiring , I know it turns over and runs just fine by jumping it from the solenoid. I haven't had any luck with starting it thru the switch tho, I've gotten a new assembly for the key and everything but there's two wires at the head of the bike with nothing attaching to them so I think this is where my problem lies, one is the blue circuit which can be connected where it was cut fairly easily , the other is a red wire which is the main power that has only a female adapter at the head and no male connector in sight so attach , im having a hard time figuring out what it's for so I'm posting a few pictures in hopes someone can identify the problem here. It's the red wire under my thumb in the one photo there, I will come back with the wiring diagram shortly. Thanks in advance!
