jebus, do these things really get over 50mpg? i havent been able to ride mine yet, and that just makes me jump for joy!
Mine gets 53-54 mpg reliably. The ad above says 64 mpg, but they were adjusted really lean from the factory...and tested with someone less than my 230#, I imagine.
i get about 70mpg with mine(1979 2-f). it is jetted(137.5), also has a 37 tooth rear sprocket instead of the stock 39. i weigh 170lbs. i have also removed the ring at the end of the muffler that covers about an 1/2" hole. i don't know why it is there but it makes the bike sound and run a lot better, plus it still looks stock
