I'm getting close to a finished bike! The TO DO list can finally fit on one page. Also ordered the (hopefully) last parts (keylock switch to fit the opening I designed under the seat, oil for front break, new oil filter for bike (already had one but got lost during rebuild of the engine), new gascap (original was locked up during sandblasting and had to destroy it to remove it)).

    Next
    - getting the seat and gas tank painted (seat: dark grey, tank: porsche speed yellow from 70's with dark grey yamaha lettering)
    - having a seat made (brown leather, diamond stitching matching the grips)
    - mounting gas tank, gas tap, etc..
    - fitting oil filter, keylock switch, oil in the front break, etc.
    - getting it started and making sure everything works well

So hopefully get it running in the new month or so! I'm very excited.

Seat and Tank are at the painters! Should be ready in a week or two!
After that I just need to have a cushion made for the seat, or just ride it like that :)

    Concerng the M-unit, I think it's a great product.
Great idea and well executed. A little expensive but a truly great product.

    Advantages
    - simplifies the wiring a lot
    - very thin wires possible for controls, you can run these through the handlebars for a clean look
    - possible to control with just 4 buttons, again very usefull for a clean look
    - built in alarm system
    - nice and usefull features
    --- auto-off function for blinkers (10s to 60s)
--- flashing functions for brake light (several options possible)
    --- one button for lights
    --- ...

Concerning the H-pipe and air pods. I removed the pods yesterday and fitted the H-pipe. The pods are too big, but I think I can manage with some PVC pipe to make it fit snugly.
