xs400j cdi / igniter

    hi guys is there any other model that uses the same cdi as the xs400j regards nickwatts

    Not that I know of.

    It's part number 12R-82305-10-00, and nothing but Maxim and Seca 400 comes up when you search for it.

    If you have a bad one, there are some companies that make replacements out there, but they are a fair bit of money.

    It is sometimes possible to repair the OEM units.

    It is. I've done it. It's cheap.

    However, it's a PITA, and you need to know what you are doing.
