    No neutral after rebuild

Thanks for the reminder about this! I have since sorted the issue out. For anyone experiencing the same thing, I split the crankcase again, and was able to get the change drum into proper neutral position. It takes some manipulation to get it there. Then I just moved the transmission gears...

    No neutral after rebuild

Let me try a different approach: Should I be able to cycle through all of the shifts when it is in this state (see photo, it's just the drum/forks in the lower crankcase), because right now I can't? It seems like the shift fork pegs hang up a bit, but i don't know if this is supposed to happen...

    No neutral after rebuild

Hi everyone, I have since re-split the crankcase. When I have the lower half with just the gearchange drum/shift forks, I am unable to cycle through the shifts properly. It feels like there is resistance coming from somewhere, but I can't really see anything preventing the shifts. I know...

    No neutral after rebuild

Hi all, after splitting the crankcase twice, I managed to get everything back together and the bike running successfully (aside from leaking cam seal i need to address). However, I cannot get it into neutral. The light comes on over a couple of gear changes (I haven't actually ridden yet), but...

    Motor won't turn after rebuild

For those who're interested, I pulled the motor apart again and found the issue: I put the longer oil pump bolt in the wrong hole, which was just poking through the crankcase and catching a part of the crankshaft. The oil pump was the one part of the disassembly/reassembly I didn't consult the...

    Motor won't turn after rebuild

It is indeed still out, and I'll be sure to flip it every which way once it's apart. Thanks!

    Motor won't turn after rebuild

I hope it's as easy a fix as that!

    Motor won't turn after rebuild

It seems more on the front side, around the cylinder block area. It's a pretty pronounced sound. Guess I'll be pulling it apart once again! Thanks!

    Motor won't turn after rebuild

Tried this, same result. The motor just stops with a solid "clunk".

The cam gear...sorry, just using the manual language!

    Motor won't turn after rebuild

Not fully, no. It was installing the cog that i tried turning the motor to no avail. There doesn't appear to be anything on the cam portion that would be impeding things. Thank you!

    Motor won't turn after rebuild

Hi everyone, I had split the crankcase on a working motor to make a repair. I did so successfully following instructions in a thread on here (thanks for that!). After taking the block off and cleaning it up, i put it all back together, up to the camshaft part. At that point I tried turning...
