After hours of painstaking swing arm bolt removal I noticed I may have damaged the inner side of the bolt hole on the frame. This was probably due to me being an idiot and slamming a bolt that didn't fit properly in the hole in attempt to remove the swing arm. (I also had to grind out the swing...
I have the exact same issue! However I didn't have the liberty of being able to take any screw out... my screw hole appears empty though I'm not sure if half the screw is just broken off? I was able to get off the c-clip (the little semi circle ring) but I'm not sure what to do next to remove...
haha finally found the time and muscle to pull this bastard out of its cage! I pulled it from the right side all by myself and damn I nearly broke my back putting it up on the bench. Thing is probably like 200 pounds or something.
@got20z love your blue bike!! Sick as hell. I think I'm going HF baby! lol. Question... when you made the weld... did you use a squared off butt joint or a beveled one? Did you use slugs? Did you leave a gap between the frame and the cafe hoop such that the welding material would touch all three...
