Led turn signal....will this work?

Do a search for detailed information about getting led turn signals to work; you'll need a new flasher.

As for the broken turn signal check the wiring; it should be under your seat. If you're certain the bulb is good you'll want to check for continuity along the way.

It is also possible the turn signal itself is damaged, but this would generally be obvious; those old turn signals are pretty beefy.

thanks....
i will be going to kapsco on monday and will see what they have to say about it.and i guess i will have to undo the whole wiring to reveal the left rear turn signal wire to check for damage

why take out the incandesent bulbs to get lower current draw then put resisters back in to raise current draw? proper LED bulbs and a electronic flasher
