I am attempting to wire a toggle switch mounted on the headlight bucket to run my turn signals. I saw this on another bike built by Kott as seen on pipeburn.

Attached are pics of the switch, factory wiring diagram, and diagram of how far I have gotten. I will be using a "clean and simple" switch on the left bar that will not control the signals, only headlight and horn.

Since I will no longer need the cancelling unit I would like to eliminate it.
So I have two questions:

1. Can I simply run the brown/white wire from the flasher relay to the switch and be done with it?
2. Do I need to remove the yellow/green wire from the cancelling unit to the relay?

Thanks in advance for your help. Am I really missing something or am I on the right track? I am certainly no electrician!
