Will my blinkers work if I remove the dummy lights?

I wanna run a small speedo and ditch the dummy lights. Will my signals still blink if I don't have the indicator light anymore?

I'm running non-led aftermarket turn signals

the stock flasher uses resistance to function 2 27 watt bulbs + a 3 watt indicator 57 watt total losing the 3 watt indicator may make your flasher slower as it will take longer to heat up but it should still work, if you go with a electronic flasher that uses capacitor charge time you may have better luck but will lose the self-cancelling feature

My self canceling doesn't work. My blinker will stay on until I turn it off. Unless I just haven't been leaving it on long enough to go off on its own

Would replacing the flasher for one that is used with led blinkers fix the issue of removing the indicator light?

yes the electronic flashers work with LEDs or regular bulbs, they use capacitor charge time not resistance to "know" when to flash
