Has anyone run GoldenTyre's? I just learned of their existence, and much to my surprise, they offer Dual Sport tires in sizes that should work well on my Maxim, 90/100-19 front and 120/90-16 rear.

The P speed rating (150kph/93mph) is more than good enough for my needs, and the load ratings of 55 (481 lbs) front and 63 (600 lbs) rear should work well for my intended use.

They do have a Canadian branch in British Columbia, but don't have these tires listed on their website. I've contacted them to get more information, and would like to get your input if you have any experience with these tires.

Thanks!
Dave

One of the PA dealers is a half hour south Erie PA, just off I 79. A long one-day trip, but do-able.
And, you could always combine it with an overnight at the big Casino just off I 90 at Erie.

Thanks for the input folks! Scorp - dirt track tires won't do me much good - I have to turn left AND right. :)

Still waiting to hear back from the Canadian distributor...

The link is a street tire not dirt.Dave why don't you order from the Dealer in Idiana or Illinois have it shipped to Port huron drive across the bridge and pick them up here.Might save some time.

The link is to a pic of a GT 266 flat track race tire. GoldenTyre no longer offers that tire. It has been replaced with the GT 267 front and GT 268 rear, neither offered in sizes that will work, nor are they DOT certified. Thanks for the effort though!

I'm in no rush for new tires as mine are still in good shape, and this riding year is coming to an end. Just trying to make plans, and a budget, for next year...
