Daeds '81 Cafe Build

Definitely wont be a problem with the chain. Stock shocks will be closer under full compression, but still would never hit the tire. Going to use 'skinny' shocks anyways so will have even more clearance.

my idea is that i can bolt my electronics under that plate and use an a123 battery. we will see how that goes. My problem now is refurbishing my wheels and spokes, wanting to keep them chrome but they are pited and the spokes are rusted and look like they are galvanized. never trued a wheel and dont want to pay someone to do it. really not sure if i want to paint them black either.

Nice job on the hoop.

It's about -5f out right now so bike is on hold till it gets warm. I did just set the seat on the bike yesterday though, its going to be sweet! I'll take a picture later.

I'm going to use this for my battery, http://www.ballisticparts.com/product_info.php?cPath=141&products_id=424 I have the 8 cell on the 750 and its working out great so far.

As for your wheels, if they are really bad its not too hard or expensive to switch to allow wheels, you also get better brakes that way. Cost me about $350.

I hope so, 120 amps should be enough. If it is a little weak for it I don't mind kicking it exclusively though.

What did you do with your old seat? I would mind getting a replacement for mine. A bunch of staples have come out and started ripping and fraying the fabric. You can't tell yet from the street but it's only a matter of time.

Rugby, you can have it if you want, I was just gonna throw it out, just pay shipping and it is yours.

Im getting ready to put my engine back in my frame and ive forgotten how this washer goes on the lower bolt that goes through the frame. any ideas or knowledge would help

I'm pretty sure the tab just butts up against a protruding pin from the frame... Right side.

Edit- Never-mind, the right side pin is for the swing-arm. The part you show goes on the bottom left motor mount(looks like a triangle with a few holes), its a dampener piece. The tab fits between the frame and motor to keep it from spinning.

It should be sandwiched between the motor and the motor mount.
