I am very excited to say that I picked this baby up for $700 last night! 4,000 miles on the clock. Great, original condition. I'm new to the Yamaha world, mostly restored old Hondas. I'm hoping this won't need much restoring.

What restoring? Looks like a show quality bike.

Great find!

There were actually two similar bikes on CNY Craigslist last week. This one, and one around you for I believe $900. Here is the link, has 7,000 miles.

The one I picked up was from Utica, has less miles and is a little bit cleaner. I'm stoked. I usually tinker with old bikes, but it looks like I might actually be able to ride this one without much hassle.

That's a good steal right there. I bought my bike for$325 but have nearly $1300 into it at this point and its still not right. Congrats on the new ride!

Well, the bike was idling high so I got a chance to look at it today. Idle screw was all the way seated and the mixture screws were only about a half turn out. Backed out the mixture screws to about 3 turns and then slowly backed out the idle screw until it was running at about 1200rpms. It stayed there for 20 minutes, purring. This might be the greatest purchase I've ever made.
