Rd engine swap?

Does anybody know if an rd engine will swap into an xs frame there's a cheap one on craigslist but I don't know much about the rd other than want I've read and I can't any info on a swap. so can anybody help?

Honestly 0% chance of it being a direct swap. Sure they're both Yamaha but that means nothing for bike fit.

If you buy the motor you can probably make new mounting hardware but you'll need so much more to make it work (proper carbs, so new carb holders, proper airbox, etc. etc.) I wouldn't think it to be worth the effort.

There would be alotta issues with that swap to address. Alotta fab work and it being a 2 stroke engine youd likely have to split the cases to replace the crank seals at minimum which isnt an entry level task.
Theres a ton of cheap xs prohects around my neck of the woods to be had cheap if you need a good engine.

Id be interested in that rd engine though as
I have I have an rd frame that I have been waiting for a cheap engine to pop up for.

Yeah doubted it 2 strokes just give me wood but it's in Toledo Ohio Craig's list 200 bucks its a rough roller along with a xs360 500 for both if I recall I have plenty of parts enough that I've built a whole bike from spare parts thanks though
