Welcome. Id start by reading/glancing over the manuals. I prefer a physical copy so i bought the Haynes manual. Get the bike up to date on maintenance first. There are some recommended upgrades you can do but i dont really know what you mean by “cool parts”? Mufflers and clip ons?
Welcome! Check out Mikesxs.com for good parts for these bikes. As far as custom parts and "cool parts" I have used dimecitycycles.com for some upgrades in the past for my other bikes. I'm sure there are more that I can't remember right now but its a start
