I thought I recognised x was on eBay a few weeks back. I think you got a bargain there!
If you aren't planning on putting a front fender on, consider a fork brace.
Many bikes of that vintage use the fender as a stiffening brace to the fork, and if you don't have it, it will be more wobbly.
