Hey everyone I was looking around trying to find cafe racer tv to download and still no damn luck. But in my search I found that season 1 is now for sale @ dime city cycle.

Those of us outside the US can't watch it so I broke down and bought it. 27 bucks canadian with the cheapest shipping. I'm sure it won't be quick but I wanted to watch it.

Just thought I'd mention it if anyone else was waiting to watch it

Shaun

They also made a fiok too, name escapes me atm but it uses the same scenes from the series with ! Few extra scenes.

For anyone who has Direct TV satellite service tomorrow 12-29-2011 is supposed to be a full day of Cafe Racer episodes on Discovery's Velocity Channel 281.

Good deal. I saw it advertised yesterday. I don't have time to watch all day so if somone would like to make a copy I will pay for it.:D

thanks for the info. our cable sup. doesnt have it. so i just bought the dvd set. i mostly hear bad reviews of the series, mostly saying its cheesey, but then again i like "american chopper" so i probably wont have a problem w/ it

I wouldn't say its the best show. But sometimes you just want to watch something motorcycle related and there isn't much around.

I can't stand the occ guys. That being said I still watch it and yell at the tv. My wife can't understand me either

I hear that Shaun. I think I have seen about every American Chopper episode. Cafe Racer was interesting because I don't remember that time and I wasn't obsessed then. I did have a Norton 850 Commando that I thoroughly enjoyed riding. I wish I still had it but that was in another lifetime. LOL. If anyone was able to record todays showing and would like to burn me a copy let me know.

i hated american chopper. i cant stand most of those bikes. sure theyre great shows of fabrication skill and metal working ability but many of those bikes are wortless for anything other than parking lot queens. what i like about the cafe racer tv show is that it centers itself around people who build but most importantly RIDE the bikes everywhere. thats one thing i like about Jesse James. sure hes arrogant but he builds bikes that look good but most importantly can ride across the country at 90 mph no problem.

just personal preference

I agree. I would rather ride than admire any day. I am not talented when it comes to building so I leave that to others with the required skills. But I can still admire and appreciate those that have the talents.
