As the title says...

I put a set of 10.5" shocks on the 400, and it's lower, but I forgot to measure before the swap :banghead:

I know the shocks are 2 1/4" shorter, but not sure how much seat height was actually gained. I know someone still has a stocker they can measure.

Thanks In Advance!

my shocker is 12 1/2 " centre to centre, not sure how you can gain seat height with shorter shocks:confused:

I meant 2 1/4" my stockers were 12 3/4".

Bad wording on my part I guess. Seat height is lower now. I guess what was gained was the space between the seat and my wife's ass.

I'm trying to figure out how much lower the seat is now. I'd swap the shocks back to find out, but #1 I had to scavenge the bushings out of the xs shocks, and well, lets be honest. Who really wants to swap everything back just out of curiosity?

Haha, why not just have her sit on it and see if she can flat-foot it  Is that what you were going for?

She can flat foot it now. That was the point. I was just curious how much of a difference it was.

Seat height now is around 28 1/2.

Once I start hacking into the seat rails it will be a lot lower. :)

They were suzuki ls650 shocks. Fair warning though, they are stiff as fuck. My 290lb neighbor even commented on how stiff they were. My 110lb wife can't even move them. Might as well be a rigid.
