Swedish xs400 bobber build start.

Got some new parts made by my brother in law while I was away on work the last couple of days. The rear mount for my tank and the front mount of my solo seat.

The two parts on the left I'll be using on my XS400, the one to the right on my Amen Savior.
Will be some welding this weekend if the snow's gone. (Can't weld indoors due to wooden floor. That sux).

Ya, I have to. 2 bikes to be done by april.
I finally got a better heating fan for my shop. Before it took like 7 hours to get + 15 C in the shop. Now I get + 22 C in like 20 minutes. Sweeeeeet..

So. Tank mount in the works:

Welded the new tank mount in place. Painted it all black. Put on the coils under the tank - will be moving these once I get a new set with longer spark plug cables. Threw it together to see how she sit's. I'll just need a new fuel line and pet cock and I'm rollin'. Oh - and paint. Well, first things first.

Seat spring's gone. Going to mount some stainless rods and skateboard bushings instead.

I'm thinking pink flake with decals on the tank and keeping the "Special" on the side covers, just grinding of the "gold" colour of the letters and keep 'em black.. Something like that.
Oh - and a set of black lane splitter bars from TCBros.

Ya, me neither. Now I'll have to get a new fuel line and a petcock, then I'll hit the streets. If I just can resist the urge of gaming - SSX got released for PS3 here today.

Got 'er running today! Went out for a ride, ended up only driving a few miles. Found some stuff that needs to be adressed before any longer runs. Like loctite on my seat bolts.....

Also she feels like she skips a couple of teeth on the sprocket when accelerating to hard. I have to check the chain for wear and take a closer look at the front sprocket. The rear one looks ok.
