Cleaning up the lines

Just ordered new exhaust gaskets, fork gaiters, turn signals, taillight/plate and im getting ready to cut the mufflers off and put on some straight pipes, cut the rear frame and slide the rear fender up a bit, cut the seat down and recover it. Will post pics as i get stuff done. not sure if it's going to be a cafe/tracker/whatever, Just love these UJM's but hate the cheesy bits.
 
A little progress. the first pic is how she looked when I got her, the last two are of how she sits now. mild fender bob, cut the cans off the rear shocks and took a wire brush to the crankcase. Purrs like a kitten too.

oh yeah, dropped the forks an inch or so, painted the headlight can, ears, and the front badge plate black, fork gaiters. Lovin this bike.
 
I cant remember, next time im at my buddies garage ill check it out and get back to ya. It was rattle can stuff. We just scuffed the chrome up with scotchbrite and sprayed it. It looks freakin fantastic.
