    Right cylinder cold misfire.

    Could unsynced carbs (VERY crudely bench synced with sewing needles) be causing a misfire when the engine is cold? The right cylinder heats up really slowly compared to left, and the exhaust reeks of gas, but once it heats up the problem is completely gone, except for a slightly jumpy idle.

    XS400 Seca cold start

    With choke all the way in, it tries to start, takes off to around 1000 rpm, falls back down and dies. Cleaned the pilot circuit the other day, and it kept idle, warmed up and ran. Idle screws are at the factory 2 and a half turns out.

    dies when given any amount of throttle with choke on, works fine once it warms up. Is it normal?
