My 83 Seca will only fire with full choke and no throttle. Have you checked for fuel flow to the carbs? Maybe disconnect the fuel line and turn the lever to prime. If you have fuel flow, try firing the bike on prime. Unkle Crusty*

Did the test today. 6000 revs gets me closer to 65. So that fits with the 500 rev difference that Dave mentioned. I am getting about 8150 revs in top gear which is just above the maximum torque at 8000. The front sprocket change to a 16 should get me around 8650 revs which is closer to the...

Leo, do you have a part number for decent foam filters. I have found many adds that do not give the size. ID at carb is 55mm. Some are 54 but should fit. Overall length for me is 90 mm or 3 1/2 inches. I have retained most of my air box to support the battery. I just cut off the front section...
