need carb body working on 77 xs i have2 sets of carbs that are both broken 1 set from a 77 1 set from an 80 slightly different carbs i need a right side carb for either one anyone?

kinda forgot abut updating this thread follow this bike on instagram too @workingclasschoppers will try to post more pics as i move forward the bike is fully mocked up and now in prep for finish got side tracked with a few projects but i am now back on it

looking at the pic i would bet that lower oil puddle is just a drip down from the head gasket

i am working on a 77 frame and the 650 hoops are all to wide. every easy to purchase hoop i have found is too wide

looking for a front fender for my 77 had a good one and somehow it got lost in the shop totally missing anyone?

we are on big oak rd. near oxford valley

did some frame mods mock up bars there was once a time when I could put in a few hours on a project and feel like I actually accomplished something.....not so much now days

no, you have legit concerns a full tear down like this is a big job have you considered just cleaning and painting the engine? I have had great success with rattle can engine enamel that has held up for years

yeah saw that one but I am looking to keep the swingarm and not hardtail it I just need to do the single backbone

I am looking for pics and info for frame modification what I would like to do is remove the triple backbone and replace with a single for more tank options but I do not want to do a hardtail maybe someone out there has some insight? thanks
