Hey guys, I have my 83 maxim 400, trying to do some winter service including a oil / filter change ( first oil change on this bike) Im not sure whats going on but i removed the oil drain plug along with the filter, And it is not gushing oil out as i would of expected its a very slow drip and...

I'm also stuck at this stage with my maxim, bolt head is very rounded, was thinking of putting a 11mm over it and smashing it on. Otherwise try heat and vice grips? Sort of thinking ride it to a shop throw them a few bucks to save a headache. Any other tricks to try ?

Well if anyone is interested the bleeders on the DOHC bikes at least is 8mm x 1.0, and worked beautifully for when i rebuilt caliper and put a new master cylinder with stainless lines on

Does anyone know the correct size of the Bleeders on the xs400 maxim? I thought it was 8mm x 1.25? which I bought the wrong ones lol Which looking at the picture looks like it should actually be the sb8100? Any help is appreciated
