looking to find out what everyone uses for pad and material along with what it is built of ie fiberglass/wood/plastic core? looking to build a brat style seat for my scrambler/brat its my first seat build so go easy and looking for ideas on how to do it

why does it seem more people build the sohc than the dohc on here or am I still to new to the group and looking is there advantages to one over the other? mine is a 5/82 titles 83 xs400 dohc
