Carbs are missing bottom mounting bar

I did some work on the carbs today. There was still some dirt/gunk in some of the passageways in the carb bowls so I soaked them for 1 hour in the ultrasonic cleaner with boiling water and lemon juice. Even after all the cleaning I had done previously, I was amazed at how dirty the water was...

    Battery wired for easy charging

To make it easier to charge the battery I wired my battery with a connector and also put the same conector on my charger. I soldered to the battery tabs tinned thin-wall 30amp wire from Drewpy's supplier. Now when I need to charge the battery all I have to do is unplug the battery from the...

    swingarm shims and free play

I just installed my tcbros bronze swing arm bushes and i realised that my bike does not have any swingarm shims. There is maybe 2-3mm gap that lets the swingarm move side to side. Is this ok or should i get a couple of shims? Also, is there any reason i can't just use a normal washer instead...

    Polishing disk brake centre

I am thinking of polishing the centre of the front disk brake. My concern is that the polish (autosol) might melt at high temperatures and run onto the disk braking surface whichi think would be bad. Could this happen or will it be ok.? Cheers.
