Sorry stater gear on the crank has to go make room for the new fly wheel and stator. This a kick only mod

It is once the bike is started it can run without the battery. The stock charging system dosnt charge untell you reach 3500rpms. If you idel alot it can be hard on the battery

Ok guys, I just installed the capacitor on my charging system. The charging system runs fine, the only problem I'm having is the bike is hard to start. Keep in mind it's kick only. Any ideas?

ok here is a pic of the stock cover and the cover after i cut and honed,filed sanded. I cuth the outside timing marks out smooth to the edge with a jig saw with a meatal blade.I smooth out all the edges inside useing a grimal tool.just to make room for the flywheel,to spin free and not rub.

Iglehart332- the mod is very similar. The outer case will need to be clearanced for the flywheel to fit in. See pics above of my case. Everything will fit inside the stock cover.

Thank y'all ! When I got the bike it had been pick apart over 20 years of mud . Sorry drewpy the mag fits nicely in side the cover. But it did cross my mind to try there is oil sloshing everywhere. It would be cool!

Thanks for the concern Campball but I will also be using a capacitor. The idea is less is better ! :-) My bike is far from stock; LED tail light, 30 watt headlight, & last but not least kick only.
