Thanks for the confirmation xschris. I've got new bolts, and yeah, might be time for a torque wrench calibration.

So I was joining my cases and had my torque wrench set to 16 ft pd. First two M8 bolts torqued up nicely, the 3rd was taking longer than it should and BANG, the bolt broke. I successfully extracted the broken bolt and ran a tap down the hole which removed lots of metal filings. Not good. So...

Hey mate, sorry, no head. You'll have to look overseas. Note that USA and uk had round fins so you'll need to buy barrels as well.

Drewpy I have some I those pegs and the measure 40mm. But the one I have photographed on the bike is the regular swept forward style and measures 40mm. I can't find these anywhere. Maybe it was different on the 250 frame? Can't imagine why. Might have to fab my own. Anyone done custom pegs?

AMR sorry mate missed yr message. I have two sets of carbs, unsure of state, I'd have to dig them out. They need a good clean and a bit of work.

Nice grips! Where did you get the discs? They look spaced out to fit. Have you thought of losing the clubmans and going the whole hog with clip ons?
