+1 on the hairdryer. used one reinstalling carbs on my seca. took all of 3 minutes to have them back on including the clamps on the airhorn and intake boots.

I did a constant 80mph on my Seca 400 for 30 miles straight. held up just fine. of course it was screaming the engine though but a smaller back sprocket will fix that. :thumbsup:

was checking out the megacams catalog i downloaded from their website and i see they make a performance camshaft for the XS400 years 79 to 83. I'm assuming this includes the DOHC version as well. has anybody tried this in their XS?? any thoughts or comments about it? I was thinking of buying one.

yes stock airbox. filter is OEM and brand new. I think the airbox snorkel might be removed?? not exactly sure but it dosent look very restrictive to the airbox. Shimming my needle would affect me in the midrange, but not up top which is where im not getting much power. never hurts to try...
