hey all, few things done to my bike recently
1)new dual tail/brake lights installed
2)rebuilt petcock
3)installed new clutch cable
4)replaced sealed beam with another sealed beam...story about that down low
5)installed new bmo ring chain
so my headlight kept turning on an off, then shut off...
dude your build is so awesome! you have encouraged me to go all the way with my bike build, i cant wait to rip mine down this winter and paint/polish/freshen it up :) keeping an eye on your build for sure!!
And I just finished rebuilding my petcock this morning and was out for the first ride. Definitely one of those days. When were leaving I saw the chain in the middle of the road. I'm gonna go back and see if its still there
Okay so it's not stuck in neutral I am an idiot and I realized that even if it is in gear there is no chain connecting the rear wheel to the front sprocket so it will always roll even if it is ib gear LOL!!!
So I'm out riding and take off and I'm giving her the sauce, shift into 2nd and nothing. I thought I found neutral so I tried shifting again...nope. I try shifting down to 1, nope. So I pull over and look down...no chain:yikes: I'm waiting to be picked up now and trying to figure out what...

a GREAT question, but yes the cable holds itself, feed through that metal grommet/guide that just sits there, seems weird, seems like it may pop out, but it doesnt :)
installed led turn signals and brake light, replaced clutch cover gasket, changed oil, replaced clutch cable, installed new seat pan/fender, started it for first time, rode 50 miles, wrote how to for making led turn signals work with flasher relay
bump, i need one too my plastic handle is broken(no thread jack lolz, you get one first!!) i think its weird how many people need these. i feel for you buddy
after seeing many threads about led turn signals and having issues with them not working and staying on, and seeing so many different answers and responses i decided to add led brake and turn signals to my bike and record the process and take pictures and make it as easy as possible for all to...
