1978 SR500 starts and runs at 4k rpm's but will not idle, just stalls

My 1978 SR500 has a new carburetor, new rec fuel, new fuel tank, spark plug and battery. It will start up and run at 4k rpm’s but will stall as the engine rpm’s drop down. No idle?
