1979 Yamaha XS400 That was Not The oil Plug I pulled This is My first Motorcycle

The plug I pulled was located near the bottom on the left side of motor. I’ll attach pictures as my description might not make sense. I am new to this and not sure what every part is called.

Upon further research, which I should have done before pulling this plug, I found out the oil plug I should have pulled is on the bottom of the motor so I’m not exactly sure if the first plug my bf told me to pull will cause problems and how to fix it.

Hey friend!

That's the main oil gallery plug. It's just there to fill a hole that's created while the engine case is being manufactured. You didn't ruin anything by removing it--if you're paranoid, grab a new copper crush washer before you tighten it back on, and keep an eye out for any oil drips from that spot to make sure it's tightened properly.
