1981 Yamaha XS 400

Hi I am planning to buy a Yamaha XS400. It is being sold at $3,000. The seller has mentioned the bike is All redone with new parts and runs excellent needs nothing. Cafe style. Six speed Trans new brakes clutch paint.

I am just concerned that the bike is 40 years old. What kind of maintenance or repair should I expect? Anything specific I should look for while inspecting the bike?

What year and model? There are some distinct differences between 70s and 80s models and whether they are single or dual overhead cam engines.
