Hello, I came to this forum a couple time while rebuilding this bike so I thought I would list it here in addition to locally in Southern Indiana
I have a 1982 XS400 bike is in GREAT shape, no leaks of any kind, clean title in hand. Asking $1,700.
The good:
New battery, fresh rebuild on the carbs, new rear turn signals, converted to modern all spade fuses, new turn signal relay, rebuilt turn signal switch, new brake lights, rear tire is 90%, rear sprocket and chain were recently replaced as well. The bike starts instantly and does not smoke at all.
The bad:
Speedo is not operational, but super easy to change out. Needs a front tire which are about $50 online. Seat does have a couple small tears, but is not in bad shape. I do have the front fender, but it needed some paint work prior to the photos.
