82 Maxim

Hello!
I just bought an 82 Maxim.
Appears that it doesn’t have carbs. Curious what the stock carbs are. I have 3 xs850s and multiple parts carburetors, it would be a dream if they were transferable.
Will get to reading the plethora of information contained here.

Welcome! I don't know about the stock carbs on the DOHC models, but if the answer is anywhere, it will be found somewhere in a post on this forum. The search function works really well and there is at least a scan of the factory manual for the bike at the top of The Garage forum that might have some info for you.

Mikuni BS series. I don't remember the size off the top of my head. 36 maybe?

This spec webpage for the 1982 Maxim 400 says they used 2 x 32mm Mikuni, and like JPaganel stated, likely the BS models.
