Bottom End rebuild

Hi, I'm just rebuilding the bottom end on my XS250 and the manual says to line up the "LT" mark on the altenator centre with an index mark on the altenator cover. Does anyone know what index mark they're talking about as I can't see one? A photo would be great if anyone has one. Once I've lined this up, how do you go about lining up the camshaft, are there any markings on that?
