OK I've ordered up a ton of parts. I'll post some pictures in the coming weeks.
1981 XS400
18" rear Eruo mag wheel, disc brake
18" front mag wheel, dual disc brakes
Modern sport bike inverted tube front end, 50mm tubes
Modern sport bike handlebars
Modern master cylinders and calipers
Aluminum R1 pegs
80/20 on-off road dual sport 18" tires
Plan on keeping the tank mostly stock. May change the cap and/or center it. Will slightly change the angle to make it for horizontal. New seat, new smaller and more streamlined rear taillamp, small streamlined mirrors, smaller strait-tube exhaust running under the bike, other minor mods. Thinking of going kick start only, but not sure. Wheels are getting powder coated black. No idea what I'm going to do paint wise for the tank yet.
