So I finally found an aftermarket or other oe brake caliper that will fit this disc in the front but just need to know if anybody knows of the sizing on the spacers that go between the caliper bracket and the mounting holes on the fork or what I could use instead of spacers like could I use a quarter inch nut or just some spacer washers and then stack them accordingly top and bottom? This bike is not a bobber it's not a cafe what you want to call it but I think a bit more like a rat bike or a roach because everything on it was not original to it like I'm pretty sure the Pistons are out of a snowmobile and for one reason or another my compression is 13 to 1 which is insane but it loves to run it hi I've checked rings and heads and valves and everything is as it was when it went in to the motor and actually the valve stems look newer than they were when they went in everything looks great but I'm also running imported German race oil that somebody had left here in the shop I guess it's like a couple hundred dollars for 5 quart jug but that person since then came back to get that oil but gave me the backstory on it and this bike is simply astonishing in terms of performance as well as surprisingly sketchy but reliable at the same time not sure how to explain it but anyway if I can get some help with the spacers that would be great I've been running a drum rear brake and it's starting to stick LOL so I'd like to get a front brake to compensate until I can get a disc in the rear. Also if there are any xs enthusiasts in the ATX area hit me up let's go for a ride to show you how this thing rips I'd like to see what it does up against a completely bone stock restored bike just to see if mine is as bad as I think it is LOL who knows maybe I'll be humbled and maybe my eyes will be opened to the fact that I need a bigger bike but we shall see in time.
