Can somebody tell me from which xs400 model is this tank?? Will it fit to 1981 SE?

Hello and welcome No I don't believe that will fit your bike. That's from a DOHC model, yours would be a SOHC being an 81 model?

I don't think thats a DOHC model tank either but the ad says it may be from a XJ. Think that's probably it then..

Willem as I see youre from Netherlands, maybe you know some other sites where I could find gas tanks? :-((

Sure I know a few dutch websites, but why do you want to buy here in the Netherlands?

You'd have better luck on the german Ebay, they have a much bigger xs400 market. But if you insist on buying stuff from here, marktplaats is probably the best site for it. Otherwise try tweedehands.nl or speurders.nl
