Okay I may be new to this site ;)

I found this site totally by accident and found myself reading a lot of it so thought i would contribute.
I bought my XS360 when i was 16 years old in 1980. it took me to high school , to College, to my first COOP job. The first years of post secondary. Then became a weekend tourer, Then my son was born and he would ride on the back.
Then in 06 it eventually went into the shed at the back of the property. I recently was diagnosed with Covid and was quarantined at home so decided to literally drag her out of the shed and work on it as i was stuck at home.
She has 38,000 miles on her , and it started right up after i put fresh gas and a new battery in it.

As you might imagine i have done everything possible to this Bike as it was my only transport for years, if anyone has any questions and i can remember, i will certainly answer them.

so i found a pic ( many many ) years ago , i think this was from high school ..

plus a couple of pics after i cleaned her up . Im not sure i will ever ride it again , but after reading some of the great posts on here, i thought i would let you guys know there is one more alive and well out there.. Its not in perfect shape and has its share of war wounds. I also did not know a whole lot about mechanics in those days so did a lot wrong , but she survived as i did.

Thanks ! Although i do have to admit .. once its all cleaned up , its likely to head back to the shed .. :) . Maybe ill keep it out for a bit and just sit on it in the driveway .
I think last time i put it on the road i only got to ride it a few times a year and it turned out to be 100 dollars a ride in insurance alone.

:)
