Okay I may be new to this site
I found this site totally by accident and found myself reading a lot of it so thought i would contribute.
I bought my XS360 when i was 16 years old in 1980. it took me to high school , to College, to my first COOP job. The first years of post secondary. Then became a weekend tourer, Then my son was born and he would ride on the back.
Then in 06 it eventually went into the shed at the back of the property. I recently was diagnosed with Covid and was quarantined at home so decided to literally drag her out of the shed and work on it as i was stuck at home.
She has 38,000 miles on her , and it started right up after i put fresh gas and a new battery in it.
As you might imagine i have done everything possible to this Bike as it was my only transport for years, if anyone has any questions and i can remember, i will certainly answer them.
