ISO IGNITION BOX

I REALLY NEED A IGNITION BOX FOR A 1982 XS400R SECA but I can’t afford a new replacement and they cost over $300 definitely not worth it for a bike that old does anyone on here have a ignition box they’re willing to sell for a reasonable price?

What is a ignition box? the box with the points/contacts in it? I cannot think of a box in my XS400 in the ignition system apart from that points box on the side of the engine.

My bad Some people call it a TCI, point ignition, or a CDI it’s a 9 pin connector bike won’t spark without it this bike is been refreshed by the last owner it immaculate other than it needs a ignition box which is why the kid sold it he got sick of hunting for one but I have a ton of time to spend on it and don’t mind waiting for parts to finish it

Ok, that explains why I dont have one. I have a points system with no such box. You are in the USA I often see XS400 being given away for free and I guess some of them would have this box. Assuming its an item like this they go for under 100 dollars in UK.
