Long term internal engine parts storage

I have my motor completely stripped, I'm wondering if its just as simple as coating everything in engine oil for storage? Or if anyone has any other suggestions that would be appreciated

Clean oil and a clean rag will work just fine. A year round warm dry place is also a must for storage.
