Greetings all! I finally finished my xs360 build, shes up and running and registered and on the road.....I was nearly over it at the end stages with all the fiddly crap (especially carbs) but got there in the end. This took a long time but I was in no hurry and I got most things the way I wanted so overall im happy.

Was a great feeling going for a blast on it the other day, she rides real tight with new swing arm bushings, shocks, head stem bearings, wheel bearings etc. These 360 motors dont have crazy power but thats ok it has enough power to be fun.

Also I just wanna say a big thanks to everyone here on the forum. Basically I wouldnt have been able to do this without all the help from this forum. Prior to this build all I had really done is bike maIntenance (brakes/chain/oil/etc), and now I have been able to rebuild a motor, get the electrics and carbs going and everything else involved in a frame up rebuild.

Well I suppose this is more an engine and repairs orientated site as opposed to a custom build site so probs why the lack of interest, im just posting on the wrong site I guess.
 
I really like how clean everything looks! Subtle style.. not overtly brash (which isn't bad, just what a lot of people are doing)
 
Your 360 sounds exactly like my maxim! I actually expected ror your engine to sound a bit tighter? Or is that just me? Thinking everything is tight, after a rebuild?
No matter, you do good work, keeping another old beauty, on the road!

Hey mate! At least someone finished the bike :) Looks great! Really clean...and sounds good! Only one thing I would try to do....to lower the headlight a little to keep the line of the bike (seat-tank-headlamp) more horizontal
 
Looks great and sounds great! Only question, is any bike ever truly done? Cause I'm finally getting close to the "done" stage on mine...yet my list of things to do in the future is growing yet again and I'm not even back to riding it...or is that just me? Anyways, got a bit sidetracked, the bike looks great, super clean and sounds good. Do have one other question now that I think of it, where is your key? I see there is no key in the ignition, so do you have it bypassed and if so, why keep the tumbler?
 
cheers guys! chetmoto the barrel is hooked up the key slides right out when on so i just take key out lol. Its on the to do list to replace, there always seems to be 'one' more thing to do. Jray im glad you say it looks factory, that was one of my goals. I wanted to customise but have an overall factory feel about it. Subtle mods that dont stand out like crazy but on closer inspection can clearly be seen.
