Just gloss paint for now. It still needs some bondo work in the dents, so I'll have to strip it next winter anyway... This paint job is to see if I really like the asymmetrical design more than anything... I may put some matte "plati-dip" in the dents to see how it holds up...

BTW carbs have been cleaned again as well, and the ceramic paint held up really well, even without being heat cured... I'll have to look to remember the brand...

This is one of those moments where gold leaf pin stripping used subtly would be brilliant. Please?:wink2:

Hmmm.. I was thinking it needs pin striping, but I hadn't considered gold leaf... That would be perfect!

I'll probably go with some gold paint for now since it's really just a mock up, but when i do it again i think gold flake is it! Here are those better pics i promised:

Looks to be coming alone. Those struts on the back won't make for a very nice ride tho:(

Oh no, we may test ride a little to tune & such but 14.5" shocks are a must!

Started it again this weekend. Warmed it up a little, and it started with one kick every time after that:

Didn't really think about the volume when I chopped the exhaust... Sounds awesome though!!
