Hey guys, just got my motorcycle licence recently and bought a 1980 Yamaha XS400 Special in great shape as my first bike, really happy with it. Lots of great resources on these forums, stoked to learn lots from y’all!

Thanks! She is a pristine specimen so close enough - fully serviced, 30000 kilometers but acts far younger and drives like new, I love it lol.Welcome! That thing looks really clean! Was it stored in a museum?

Thanks guys, and definitely - I've been exploring the manuals, technical references, and how to's on here tons.
I've been taking her out for long rides exploring side roads around here every day, so far the only fix needed was the idle screw adjustment. What a sweet bike, turns some heads too lol.
