I am currently building a xs400 chopper not 100%sure on the year but its between a 77 an 84. anyways, I'm running uni pods and straight pipes. decided to bring the main jet up a size as well as the pilot.(now running 137.5 main and 45 pilot) the bike idles but has a hard time coming back down from a rev. anyone has any idea what's going on? pls help!

thanks

Hanging idle after revving it means that the idle mixture is too lean. You will need to adjust the idle mixture screws and open them a bit at a time (maybe ¼ turn each adjustment) to richen up and dial in the idle mixture. There are some procedures in past posts on here that describe how to adjust these screws - search for idle mix adjustment and you will find lots of advice on this.
