Selling 1982 Yamaha xs400 special

I'm 17 getting into bikes and currently restoring a 1981 Yamaha xs400 special with under 3000 miles factory paint ( black with gold specle) factory luggage rack factory faring factory aluminum rims with new tubeless tires. I got a plate and registration insurance and even have been driving it to work, I want to know how much it's worth

I'm trying to give away an '82 xs400 in running and riding condition - no takers here or elsewhere, not even interest as spare parts. I think the value is basically what you can get at a scrap yard, or if you get lucky.

Its looking like the way it will end up is offering it for free on craigslist/facebook marketplace; ie, just come and take it, title included if you care.
