anything is possible with some skill, time and welding materials. That said, the answer is not really, and quite hard.
The frames and engines are completely different, for one the DOHC doesn't have a cradle frame (frame tubes going down the front and below the engine) but it's a stressed member.

The easier,,,and CHEAPER route is to sell your bike and buy a DOHC....or a 650.
