STATOR IS NOT MAGNETIC

Does my Alternator/stator need to be magnetic.????????

I tore down my motor a few moth ago. Waiting on parts to get ordered. Finally got enough parts in to start rebuilding my engine. When I replaced my stator parts I noticed that it was not magnetic anymore.
Is this going to be a problem...

Or will it become magnetic when I hook up my battery??

This bike does not use a permanent magnet alternator. It generates a magnetic field using a field coil like car alternators. As long as you have a good battery and the proper voltage regulator, things will be fine.
