Unknown Problem?

Just got the bike a few weeks ago, was riding it yesterday and noticed as I coast to a stop the bike makes a high pitch noise.

Any ideas? Thanks

Could the cam lobes be a tad tight on the buckets?

High pitch noise? when you squeeze the brakes? Or you hear it, and it sounds like something with the engine? rear brake, as the wheel is turning, and it stops? or 8 track stuck on repeat? Bike is like 35 years old right ?

I hear it coming from the engine when i'm coasting to a stop. Thanks for the reply
