Hi

Wondering if anyone could help me.

I have just purchased a custom XS400 SE Brat Style.

Was all working fine today and then I had a false neutral and stalled it. (Light said was in but it wasn't)

Now the clocks and indicators don't work.

Wont let me upload a video. But basically:

1. Ignition is on.... No clock lights etc. no indicators.

2. Hold front brake lever in...... Clocks turn on. Let go of the brake lever and the clocks go off.

3. Keep holding the brake lever and press the indicator, clocks go off, cancel indicator, clocks come back on.

I'm hoping as the brake lights and indicators are linked (according to the wiring diagram) it's just a fuse. Would a stall cause a fuse to blow?

It shouldn't.

It sounds to me like you have a bad ground in the signal circuit. At least the stuff you mentioned above is related (horn too) by connection to the signal circuit in a bike with stock wiring. Since your bike is modified, you might have something different. But without other knowledge, I would start troubleshooting with that one circuit.

Thanks.

That was my thinking. Just annoying, it was all working before the stall.

Unless it's maybe jolted a connector loose but it wasn't a violent stall.

It shouldn't.
